We may have closed our shop doors, but we'll see you at the 2011 Peterborough Garden Show at the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Road.

It will be held from Friday, April 8th, to Sunday, April 10, which will not conflict with the Easter weekend,this year.

This show is an established favourite event with an attendance of more than 8,000 enthusiastic visitors last year. While the focus is on gardening, many visitors attend to find unique gift and home decor items that reflect their love of gardening and all things natural. We think that Canal Street has found a perfect niche with this group who believe, like we do, that buying antique and vintage is the "greenest" way to go for gift giving and decorating. Plus, many of the decorative motifs popular in these old-time classics are floral, blending beautifully with the "country cottage" look.

In addition to our antiques, we intend on showcasing our hand crafted, all-natural home and body products including our soaps and candles. Of course, we will also have the work of local artists - art that has been hand-picked by us to reflect the garden theme.
