Despite closing our doors, Canal Street is booked for the 2011 Peterborough Garden Show at the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Road. This show is an established favourite event with an attendance of more than 8,000 enthusiastic visitors last year. While the focus is on gardening, many visitors attend to find unique gift and home decor items that reflect their love of gardening and all things natural. We think that we found a perfect niche with this group who believe, like we do, that buying antique and vintage is the "greenest" way to go for gift giving and decorating. Plus, many of the decorative motifs popular in these old-time classics are floral, blending beautifully with the "country cottage" look.
